Another Lana

Here is today's sketch, I've been working on sketches for a possible Lana Del Rey pinup, but its been tough since I can't find any photos that are what I'm looking for. I found a still image if Lana from her "National Anthem" video that I'm using as reference and its working well.
I still have more work to do though. Refining her delicate nose. In the sketch above I drew it to small. Almost like Priscilla Presley's. More to come ...

Bettie Page drawing

Sharing a few shots of a drawing for a new painting of Bettie.

Junior High

... in Junior high, from 6th to 8th grade I was known for drawing Betty Boop (as well as naked ladies). I would draw classic Betty and modern Betty, which was Betty in modern fashions of the early 2000's. Here are a few examples of my Betty's from the past. more to come in time ... (:

Bettie Page

Hello,

Just sharing a recent painting I'm doing of Bettie Page. The look I'm going for is a Sepia toned overall-color. Keeping with just one color and minor color accents.

Perle Noire

Dear friends,

I am proud to introduce the finished painting of Burlesque-Queen, and Goddess in my eyes, Perle Noire.

I have been wanting to paint Perle ever since I found out about her. She's beautiful, vivacious and has an aura, glowing all around her as she shakes-shimmies and twirls about. Not to mention she is a warm and caring woman who has a beautiful mind to match her beautiful body. I hope you all enjoy this recent piece that I am so happy to share.

Today's work ...

Just sharing some sketches I did today ... a drawing of a beautiful man from the 50s, I'm not to sure as to who is but I'm sure he was a popular model for beefcake mags.

The other is an idea for a future painting maybe I may paint both we'll see.
